ON A PERSONAL NOTE – The richness and depth of Jewish life has inspired me to portray various situations pertaining to our hallowed Jewish traditions with paint-brush and color. When painting such scenes, I feel drawn into the special moment that is depicted and it is as though I experience it here and now.
Examples:
The exciting moments of a Chupa, the celebration of a Hachnasat Sefer Torah, the endearing lights of Chanuka menorahs, the sweet joy of Torah study, the powerful moment of Shofar blowing, the tradition of Kaporot, as well as the purchase of the 4 minim.
I feel the special sanctity of these uplifting, grand and splendid moments, and my heart swells with joy.
