When I wanted to paint the Jews ascending to the Holy Temple, I tried to imagine the Temple rising from the hills, with people streaming toward it from all directions, and the immense spiritual experience felt by those ascending.
I sought to express in my paintings the holiness of the Temple and Jerusalem, using pure colors and golden sparkles, in an innovative and contemporary style.

In the heart of Jerusalem, on Mount Moriah, the most sacred place in the world, stood the magnificent Holy Temple.
Every year—during the three pilgrimage festivals—thousands of Jews from the corners of the earth, with hearts full of anticipation, would ascend to Jerusalem to appear before God,
bringing gifts, offerings, and immense joy.
The journey of the pilgrims to Jerusalem, where the holy and splendid Temple stood, was a spiritual journey—to delight in the Divine Presence and connect with the roots of their ancestors.
As they approached Jerusalem, their excitement and joy were palpable; their hearts soared with each step. The anticipation ignited their souls with a passion beyond description: “Our feet stood within your gates, O Jerusalem.”
The gates of Jerusalem rose before them, majestic and inviting, welcoming them inside.
All the streets of Jerusalem were filled with people, flowing together toward the Temple, surrounded by fellow pilgrims,
feeling a sense of unity as part of a global family, woven together by shared faith and destiny.
As they drew nearer, the crowds around the Temple grew denser. The pilgrims struggled to contain their excitement. Their steps quickened, their hearts soared, and their spirits were uplifted.
Standing in the presence of this holy Temple, they felt a deep connection to the generations before them, whose hopes, dreams, and prayers dwelled within these sacred halls.

The Holy Temple becomes the focal point of their deepest aspirations, a place where their souls can find comfort and their spirits can be renewed. They carry their prayers, bow their heads in humility, and allow the weight of their concerns to be lifted by the sanctity of the moment.
Upon leaving the Temple, the pilgrims carry with them a renewed sense of purpose and a deeper connection to their heritage. Their hearts are filled with gratitude for the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of their ancestors and experience the holiness that resides there.
As they bid farewell to this sacred city and return to their homes, they carry within them the spirit of Jerusalem—a flame that continues to burn and illuminate their lives with hope, faith, and a profound sense of belonging.

Build Your House as in the beginning, and establish Your Temple in its place.Show us in its rebuilding,
and let us rejoice in its restoration.
Restore the priests to their service, and the Levites to their song and their music.
Bring Israel back to its dwellings,
and there we shall ascend, see, and bow before You.
