From Shavuot – to the Heart: A New Creation is Born

Every holiday brings with it a new light — and within me, it gives birth to creation.
This Shavuot, once again I find myself sitting in the synagogue, hearing the voice of the verses, feeling the great moments of the giving of the Torah…
and my heart fills up.
The sensations, the spirit, the depth — all seek to emerge into the light through color, canvas, and holiness.

For many years, I didn’t dare touch the subject of receiving the Torah.
How can one paint such an elevated moment?
How can one express power and holiness without losing gentleness?

I remember the excitement that surrounded me when I painted the scene of Mount Sinai for the first time.
It was an inner journey — not an easy one — but, thank God, a creation was born that still moves me to this day.

I’m happy to share with you a few of these paintings,
and soon — a new creation that is taking shape these very days…

Wishing you

“And Mount Sinai was altogether in smoke”

When I began this painting — my hands were trembling.
I didn’t know if I could succeed.
But I felt a voice inside whispering:
“Paint the moment — not as it looks, but as it is experienced within you.”

I painted clouds and added light.
Then another layer — mist and smoke.
I captured the Tablets, the voices, and the lightning,
and the multitude below — standing as one person with one heart.

This is one of the artworks dearest to my heart!
