Interested in knowing what happens behind the scenes?
This time, I’m briefly sharing the process of creating a luxurious artwork of the Holy Temple and the houses of Jerusalem.
Clients from the United States, who were very enthusiastic about my artistic style, wished to commission a piece measuring 180 × 90 cm for their elegant home, to be displayed on the wall above the sofa.
They wanted the painting to include many houses of Jerusalem along with the Holy Temple, using only white and gold colors.
I prepared two quick sketches for them, drawn in pen on printer paper, in order to present the composition.
Thank God, they were especially excited about one of them! We refined it, and I set out on the journey.
Here is the sketch that was chosen:

I was quite apprehensive! How would such a large artwork look using only white and gold—without any additional color?
I realized I would need to work extensively with texture, and that’s exactly what I did. I used several shades of gold, along with gold leaf, and here before you is the refined final artwork.

I myself could not believe how magnificent the final artwork turned out, thank God.

Clients from the United States, who were deeply impressed by my artistic style, wished to commission a large painting measuring 180 × 90 cm for their luxurious home, to be displayed above the sofa.
They wanted the artwork to include many houses of Old Jerusalem along with the Beit Hamikdash, using only white and gold tones.
I prepared two quick sketches on computer paper to outline the composition. Thank God, they were especially excited about one of them! We refined it, and I set out on the journey.
I was quite worried — how could a painting created only in white and gold look so grand, without any additional colors?
I realized that investing heavily in texture was essential, and that’s exactly what I did. I used several shades of gold, along with gold leaf.
And here before you is the magnificent final artwork before you.
